Take your leg workout outdoors with this quick but taxing stair HIIT session! All you need is a long set of stairs and you're set!👌
1⃣Warm-up: Jog up and down your flight of stairs for 3-5 minutes, followed by stretches
2⃣Run up the stairs, 2 stairs at a time, 4 sets of 10
3⃣One-legged hops, 1 stair at a time, 4 sets of 10 for each side
4⃣Jumping squats, 2-3 stairs at a time (depending on confidence), 3 sets of 10

Another beautiful day in Mexico! The original plan was to come down here with a couple buddies, but I ended up making the trip on my own. It's been a great opportunity to reflect and just think about my life, the direction I want to head, and ultimately what I want to be doing in both the near and distant future. Despite being in one of the most peaceful settings I've ever experienced, my mind has been going a million miles per hour thinking about all these new visions and goals I have. I am more excited than ever about all the possibilities in life and I know that if I put my mind to ANYTHING, I can accomplish it. And the same goes for you. Don't short yourself. Dream big. Sundays are for sammies, the toasty open-faced kind #becausealliteration. Knocking out some micros and somma them healthy fats with eggs, avocado, and smoked salmon #nomnom.
Stocked up on some more 'whole food' carbs this week (sweet potato, oats, fruit, etc) because my diet hasn't been the most 'ideal' lately 😬. I'm all for food freedom and think you're setting yourself up for failure if you're feeling restricted. That being said, I definitely do better with some structure with treats worked in. I've been a little too 'what the heck sure I'll eat this entire sleeve of chocolate caramel rice cakes (which are 👌🏻👌🏻 btw) and half a can of coconut whip' #truelife#imaddictedtococonutwhip. I need to check myself every so often (I think most of us probably do) because I always feel better when I'm still enjoying these things but in a more 'controlled' way.

Sunday's were always day of regret for me before I started my weight loss journey. I was a binge eater, and weekends always proved to be the worst. Whether it be drinking and binging on Whataburger at 2am, or just overeating at date night-I was miserable by Sunday. I would ask myself "What's WRONG with me???". It took a lot of discipline, but I have learned to make Sundays a day of reflection and preparation. I would analyze where I went wrong-but not be so HARD on myself. Then I would make a new plan to be successful for the week ahead. What plans can you put in place today, that will allow you to continue to move forward on your journey this week?
