Playing NUMBER GAMES 💯
Here's a great tip on how to get better at jumprope. It's simple & it works 👌
When I teach other to jump, I find they get frustrated or bored if they don't catch on as quickly as they'd like. 😑I was like this too when I started. I think music 🎶 was a great distraction for me. That helped for a while.
Then one day I came up with a game I could play that really helped me perfect new tricks or movements. I call it "The Number Game" because you start of at 1 then progress upwards until you reach 10. For example 1, then 1,2 then 1,2,3...I've been known to start ALL over again when I mess up, even at 9 😠
Not only does his help build MUSCLE MEMORY (which most people don't realize is an important part of jumping) but it's also tests cardio endurance.
Today's combo is an example of number games doing the cross.
This video was not edited so I did these consecutively in the heat of Oahu. 🔥 These were tough 😫but worth it. Let me know if you can count as I progress to 10 in a row.
