The lovely wide squat pose and stretch. I try to do it as often as possible just to break up the pattern from sitting or standing for long periods of time. It's so low key but is so great to do
1. Wide Squat: (1) Stand with your feet slightly wider than your hips. (2) Bend your knees and lower your hips toward the ground. (3) Bring your palms together at your heart center, and firmly press your elbows against the inside of your knees, helping to open the hips even further. (4) Shift weight into the heels, lengthening the crown of the head up toward the ceiling, holding for five deep breaths

HIIT has been shown to improve fitness quickly and efficiently. HIIT is super flexible too and can literally be done anywhere- on a bike, on the road, on a set of stairs, in the gym or even in the backyard!! You intersperse periods of high intensity effort, with periods of rest or recovery. Check out #sshmovers for examples of some HIIT sessions but remember that the benefit is in the intensity.
