This week's #scwchallenge then is all about drinking....water that is!
Water is essential for so many functions within the body. It helps to stabilise body temperature, lubricate our joints and organs, aids in removing waste products so is great for our complexion, and amongst other things it helps to keep us hydrated and able to function with day to day life 👍🏻 Try this week to look at your water intake. If you get most of your daily fluid intake from caffeinated or sugary drinks then start by trying to swap one or 2 of these with a glass of water and notice if you feel any benefit.
As a rough guide you should aim to drink around 1.5-2 litres of non alcoholic fluids/water per day. This obviously varies dependent on body size and exercise levels but as a rough guide it's not too shabby a start!
