Watching my mom @ginnymaccoll progress in upper body strength over the past few years has opened up a whole new world for me. I didn't know that you could gain so much strength in a totally new type of movement at age 67! It’s only taken me several months but I made an ab workout vid yesterday...to the few who have asked, sorry! 😬😬
1 Week Post Show: Well here we are after about a week of “eat what I want when I want” and no training except for some AM cardio as I have actually grown rather fond of the pick me up I get out of it.
Now don’t get me wrong it wasn’t a “shovel everything and anything I can get my hands on” binger...although I will say that was a challenge at times. I did have to remind myself that all this food isn’t going anywhere and I can have things here and there day by day. I definitely enjoyed the foods that I had been restricting myself from during the year of prep....Oooo and it was HEAVENLY!!! Nope no reverse diet for this girl, I am honestly just listening to my body and trying to make good choices without letting the temptation of gluttony take over! Comfortably uncomfortable with where I’m at as I know change takes time to adjust and if your living in your comfort zone well then your truly not in a place to harvest personal growth and break boundaries! You could say I’m on this mission of finding balance in my transition from on to off season and this time around I want to do to less counting numbers and go back to what I did when I first started out and that was just listening to my body!
Improvement season is here and I’m certainly excited to push my limits once again and get into the fine tuning of things! With coach @kimbooddo guidance I’m looking forward to the new highest we will reach in 2018!! 🚀 @bodybyo
