The most common question I’m asked these days is if weight training (something I’ve only been practicing for 3 months) has negatively affected my body weight/ calisthenics training (what I’ve immersed myself in for over 2 years). The answer... No.
Making progress, slowly slowly. In the last couple of months I feel like I haven't added anything massive to my collection, but my muscle memory is getting better and better and everything is getting easier and more fun, which is the whole point, right? 💃

A lot of us get stuck in other people’s “highlight reel”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Almost everyone in social media shares positive things about their life. New wins. New toys. New everything. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which is not a bad thing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But what you need to understand is that despite all these “highlights”, everyone also has their own “down” moments.
