I watched a little snippet by @unicef the other day and was brought to snotty tears, seeing how little children in war - torn Africa are reunited with their parents who did not even know if their children is alive or gone. Christmas is so near, and in the loving sprit of christmas, can I just gently ask you my dearest friends if you would spread your heart to anyone in need? Perhaps it’s supporting the local food bank, volunteering to feed the homeless, or even donating to amazing organisations like Unicef, World Vision, etc who are at the frontline of humanitarian crisis. If money and time is not what you have in your hands, then perhaps think of them, say a little prayer. No prayers to heaven is ever wasted. One day in heaven you will meet people who will thank you for sending prayers their way, I am convinced.

They turned 6 today. When they were leaving for school the other day, Sebastian and William had already headed out the door. They were bringing in their gifts for their classroom’s gift exchange and I said to Linnea to make sure Sebastian didn’t leave his gift on the bus and she said ok. Ten years ago today, Jared and I became boyfriend and girlfriend. I am so grateful I get to do life with my best friend! Thank you @jaredharen for loving me through the good times and the bad. For me photography is more than taking a picture, it is the art of freezing a window in time. In a world where everything little thing is changing in some way every second, every moment is truly one of a kind and infinitely precious. When I look at this photo I see more than just the iconic shores of Ireland, i think of the people standing next to me, the moments leading up to it, and what my wife and daughter may have been doing that very second on the other side of the world.

Every morning, this little monkey still crawls into our bed. Sometimes I know it happens and others he is super sneaky. Either way, every morning I look at him and say “good morning, Sunshine” and he says “good morning moon.” It’s my favorite way to start the day fresh, believe it or not, I even love it more than coffee ☕️☕️.
Tonight we photographed our last wedding of 2017! We have had the honor of capturing 25 amazing couples say “I do” this year. It’s been our best season yet! We truly have the BEST clients ever! This image taken when Chandler & Chris read their letters to each other is one of our favorite photographs of the year. The love these two share really moved us!

My favorite part of being a wedding photographer is delivering our couple's photos for them to treasure in these heirloom keepsake boxes.
