Definitely one of my favorite ring shots of the year! I just adore this elegant set from @susiesaltzman, nestled into a darling little @bhldn ring box!! Hey, speaking of favorites... was I one of your favorite photographers this year? Or heck, do you kinda just like me a little bit? 😂 I ask because voting is open for Best of Loudoun 2018 and yours truly is listed in the Photographer category!! #shamelessplug
If you’re feeling all warm and cheery this holiday season, I would SO appreciate you taking a minute to visit the link in my profile and vote for me! You don’t even have to live in Loudoun County to participate. I’m honored to even be considered for this award.
Your love, encouragement, and support mean so much to me and I truly would not be anything at all without YOU. This has been an incredible year, and I simply can’t wait to see what challenges, growth, and joy 2018 holds. Wishing you all the best holiday season with your friends and families!
I came across this photo today while finishing up the edits for a few more weddings! One of my favorite parts of getting to work all over the country is exploring new places, like this gem in St. Augustine. This historic mission dates back to 1565, and is in the oldest city in America! I totally geek out over pretty photo spots like this... what’s your favorite part about traveling?
Still in love with this shoot from almost two years ago in Old Town Alexandria! Also, still thankful my best friend braved the bitter cold for me. She looks warm, doesn't she? You'd never know the wind chill was 5 degrees that day... 🙃
After 3 snowy days of being voluntarily “stuck” at home, I’ll be honest, jumping back in to the swing of things is going to be hard this week 😳 on the agenda includes editing, packaging, and prepping for the weekend in one of my favorite places to photograph some wedding goodness... and all in all — I’m liking what I see 😍
Anna Beth married her childhood sweetheart on her family’s farm. She wore her precious grandmother’s wedding dress which first made its debut nearly sixty years ago. I’m not sure that we could squeeze anything else more sentimental into this one ;)
Hi Insta Friends!! I’ve been pretty quiet on here for the past week enjoying being off of social media a bit. I needed the break. This week has been scary and worrisome here in Southern California with all these wild fires, and continue to be a threat to our friends north of us in Santa Barbara. I’m so grateful to all the first responders who are out there battling these fires to save homes, animals and people. I pray for their strength to continue to battle what seems like a never ending battle with these wild fires. Stay safe my friends. 🙏
(Hey photographers!!) I have a two part caption in this post today so be sure to keep reading! First, these images are from @amber_rupe_ stunning bridal session in Tulsa at the rose garden. We got lucky with the dreamiest of light and I’m completely obsessed with these images. Secondly, (and I’m super shy about this kind of stuff) I am teaching my first ever intimate mentoring workshop in January. I have been asked many times in the last year to mentor photographers and I’m just really shy/nervous/don’t even know why you think I’m cool enough to mentor you...so I said no for a long time. Then more recently to around 6-7 photographers I said *maybe* and I put them on hold. So now I finally finally got up enough courage to host one or two small mentoring workshops. I’ll be posting more this week but the first one will be January 27th. If that fills up I’ll open up one more date. I have several lovely ladies that have already emailed me and I’m working on getting their spots secured first before I announce it online. So be looking for my posts about that soon! Will include brunch with me, class discussion about getting started and finding your voice in the industry, shooting a pretty styled bridal session and one on one time. In the meantime thanks for thinking I’m kind of cool and that you want to learn from me. It makes me feel like this >> ☺️☺️☺️☺️. (This is more for newer local to Arkansas or surrounding area photographers!)
