I often get asked how to choose wall art for neutral colored rooms. People love the all white and gray & white trend and then feel like it’s fallen a little flat without some kind of pop of color. To me it’s literally a blank canvas with endless possibilities. I try to break it down for each individual client. When was the last time you stopped to ask yourself what YOUR favorite color was? Close your eyes and think of a serene and happy place, what’s the main color in your scene? Do you love plant life and greenery? Are you mostly seeing oceans and bright blue waters? Or do you prefer pale soft pinks and creams? At the end of the day you are the one sitting in those rooms the most. You want what you see on the wall to be something that brings YOU joy, not what you think others would like or what looks more like a Pinterest board. Where is your happy place?
Happy Friday, friends! This morning I get the rare privilege of snuggling with my niece on the couch while I do some early morning kid watching! Being an auntie is one of my simple joys in life, as well as reading good books, discovering new #grainfreebaking recipes, and scoring awesome #thriftstorefinds! One of my greatest passions is helping people find contentment and joy in their homes, as well as a vision and mission for how God can use their homes for His glory. I also love getting to know people through these squares! What are some of your simple joys in life? #fridayintroductions
Friday, is that you? It’s finally the end of a long but fulfilling week. Got a lot done and I’m one step closer to my goals. How did your week go?
Btw, I’m loving floor to ceiling windows at the moment - they bring in a lot of light to any space.
