"OVERCOME YOUR FEARS"
Like many of us here, I was a extreme case of Acrophobia & Aquaphobia - Fear of heights & Fear of water. that even my kundli mentions about the fears. .
On my trip to BKK in 13' I gathered some courage to try the parasailing after about sitting there and observing for an hour. I knew it will be tough, with gathering whatever I had I moved and qued, little i knew about what's gonna happen next, I was running and next I see myself in air waving hands to all on the ground.
We moved about 400 mtrs when I realised that I'm coming down, thinking this as one of the stunts they were trying to sensationalize. But NO the speed boat had got faults in the engine and I was under water for 10 seconds, struggling for life with parashute above. Somehow with the help of life jacket and help from their SOS team I was rescued. Came back to the deck and asked if I can do it again. They said yes !!
Those 10 sec changed my entire perspective and I believe I overcame both my fears. Later I did Underwater sea walk in krabi, advanced level scooba diving in Amed, Bali and now this paragliding from 9000 ft.
If you are weak mind things will happen with you always remember Just 1 life to live,Live with no regrets. Make the most of it. .
