The first photo was taken two weeks after starting my reverse diet and the second is a couple of weeks after the 3 month reverse! Safe to say, I gained quite a bit of muscle (which was my goal) while also restoring my metabolism and putting my body in a nice and healthy bf range! Strength also increased 💪🏽I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be, however I can honestly say that I am pretty proud with what I have achieved. Yes, it took some time and yes I’ve still got a long way to go, but I guess that’s the beauty of it all. We are continuously learning and continuously growing. It’s amazing how much you can learn about your body and all the knowledge you acquire while going through a process like this. Im still not exactly where I want to be, but I have no doubt that I’ll get there! It has definitely been an experience watching my body go through the changes that it has been and it has been amazing to see exactly what it is able to do when fuelled correctly!
If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to not give up. It does take a while to see any sort of progress and yes when you’re putting in all the work and not seeing much happen as fast as you’d like, it is easy to give up, but don’t!!! A real easy and simple recipe packed with goodness and yes protein 🤦🏼♀️. We have some whole wheat pasta, tomatoes, mushrooms, spring onion, spinach in a rich tomato sauce topped with crispy kale that was cooked in the oven and sprinkled with salt & a little bit of brown sugar 💚
