I decided to do a study with you all on this topic, because of a discussion with my daughter. Her thought on marriage and divorce and remarriage was " maybe people really don't know what the Bible says" because preachers rarely teach about it. It's a very sensitive subject for many. However, I do this page to spread truth in love. It's not about popularity or likes, because f that was the intent I wouldn't post on topics like this. 🤷🏽♀️ Anyways it saddened me that during the poll, less than 80% of people felt that it wasn't okay to divorce and remarry for whatever reason. Im glad it was higher than the people that believed it was okay. I just expected higher. •
Let's examine what the Bible has to say.... clearly in this verse there is only one exception for divorce and remarry. That reason is adultery. If you have divorced and remarried, for any other reason, the scripture clearly states you are committing adultery. Most people want a mate, and a lot of people make bad decisions. However, if you have divorced for any other reason besides what the Bible says... then there are consequences. I know it's a hard pill to swallow, but this is Gods word. If any one can find a passage hat says "God wants us to be happy so we can remarry as many time as we want, regardless of adultery was committed" please post it. If we want to be pleasing to God, we can't live by how we feel. Going by what we feel, will lead us to hell. There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. (Proverbs 16:25) #marriagedivorceremarriage#divorce#marriage •
Nagging has been a reoccurring topic that keeps popping up in my life. Recently, I heard @lewishowes on a podcast talking about how no man wants to be a bad man. I’ve heard talk shows, movies, and friends talk about the things their husbands aren’t doing for them. I know I’m totally guilty of doing it too. It’s heartbreaking. Lewis proposes that we should recognize the things our men are doing right and let them know. Maybe he didn’t bring you flowers home after a long day, but did he wake up early and go to work to provide for you? If we just point out the failures then our men will shut down and feel defeated. Recognizing the greatness our men bring to our life, instead of nagging, not only changes how the men feel, but how we feel too. When I focus on all the areas where Eric is getting it right (going to school, working multiple jobs, helping me with photography, boxing for extra income, taking me on dates, and the list goes on and on) then it not only encourages him, but it changes my heart and attitude too. Just look at that list of things Eric is doing right, it seems ridiculous that I’d never praise those things, and just bring up the socks he left on the floor, but I’ve been guilty of doing it before. I challenge you (and myself) to make it a goal for the rest of the week to only talk about the good you see your spouse doing and see how rich your relationship is by the end of the week!!!
My pretty lovely #sisters that grew up with me, thank you for all the lovely moments together. We have all grown up to be fine ladies, and now you are married to the man you love dearly. We give you our blessings and wish you a #blissful marriage 💓

Oh my sweet girl with those big brown eyes!
* we love giving her a Squeezy Pack from @elfejuvenileproducts with homemade treats in her @beaba_usa . It’s a good way for me to know exactly what she is eating and make sure she’s getting all the vitamins and nutrients she needs 💖✨
We played in the sandbox together, ride the same bus, and graduated together back in 2003...and not one time did I ever think of dating her....fast forward to 2011, I run into her at the gym. We had a casual convo just catching up, then 2 years later we end up married lol. But I promised God that I'd do my best as a husband...needless to say, she's still her lol. When God blesses you, recognize the blessing, but don't forget to recognize the One that gave you the blessing! #wife#marriage#life#love#blacklove#dimples#blessed#godisgoof

For 14+ years I questioned if I was truly going to find my soulmate. At times, I felt as though my prayers of one day finding my husband would never be answered.
There were days, months and a few years where I was convinced that I would be single forever (sounds dramatic until you've been in that state of mind). Goodness, if only I would have known the size of the blessing that was coming...in due time.
Looking back on it though, I am so grateful that I didn't know it all because it gave me the opportunity to choose to turn to faith.
It gave me the opportunity to pray for my future husband without knowing him, and most importantly it gave me the opportunity to grow and develop my character as a woman before entering into the season of marriage.
So ladies, if you are out there questioning your future, longing to meet your soulmate, please remember this: It takes a strong person to remain single in a world that is accustomed to settling with anything just to say they have something. It's so worth the wait, I promise. 🤟🏼 Tag a sister who needs to read this 🖤

Besides physical touch, my favorite "love language" would be spending quality time together. I love it when my wife @kaylab_fit sets aside some time to go out with me on the weekends or comes with me to the gym to hang out. I feel like if I can't spend time with the person I love then I feel disconnected to that person. Also I think anyone would feel overtime if you never got to hang out with that person who matters to you, you'd start to think they don't care enough to want to be with you. Here we are just finishing up our jaw workouts talking and got a picture in together on this busy week! Love you @kaylab_fit

I like to do this to my husband...but I also like to take it to annoying levels where I do this when he's doing something like washing the dishes or moving a box to another room or anything that involves the ability to move around freely. I then declare that we're now siamese twins and I'm stuck to him so will be following him. It only lasts about 5 mins max before I get bored (maybe that's why he just lets me do it? Because he knows I'll get bored of walking all around the house with him...) but he's a champ for putting up with it 🤣 #thesimplethings#marriage

Don't settle… wait for the one who treats you like an investment; not a test drive. Someone who inspires you to be at your best… One who looks beyond your outer beauty and falls in love with your soul #reallove
