McLaren Senna (10 pictures) ✔️⤵️
To be honest, at first, I really didn’t like the design. But seeing these pictures and the attention to detail, features like the extra window in the doors, the engine start/stop button above you like a jet, PLUS knowing it’s the lighters McLaren ever with one of their fastest and best engines ever...CAN’T WAIT to see what this beast can produce!🔥🔑
P15/Senna | Named after one of the most legendary Formula 1 drivers to have ever graced this earth with his effortless talent, the McLaren Senna is earmarked as McLarens most hardcore of its hardcore cars. A 4.0 litre twin turbo hooligan which uses its 749bhp along with its 1198kg dry weight to throw its 500 exclusive customers, cocooned in their 598bhp per ton carbon fiber spaceships, around the race tracks of their choice across the globe. Billed as the latest in McLarens Ultimate Series (replacing the utterly stunning P1 and the jaw dropping P1 GTR) this latest Woking Warrior is very much form following function. In the world of already outrageously quick HyperCars, top speed isn’t that hard to achieve (if you don’t care about vehicle dynamics, safety or component longevity), you just need lots and lots and lots of power. But fast lap times and creating a car that works in harmony with the laws of physics is hard, it’s takes hours of testing, engineering, more testing, simulation, calculating and ultimately proof of concept, but to get that all into a package which looks as aesthetically pleasing as you’d expect from a £750,000 Limited Edition McLaren track attacker is even more difficult. The styling on this car is a little bit on the odd side considering the level of styling and downright beauty it’s older siblings of McLaren flagships through the years have possessed but I’m sure it’ll grow on people (doesn’t really matter if normal people like it as all 500 are sold to people who think it looks and will behave as the McLarens of the future should) as it’s capabilities become clearer and the design choices make sense in the physical world. All in all, it’s up to manufacturers like @mclarenauto to push the envelope in building techniques, technology and execution that raises the bar and makes the whole industry take a leap forward. Now, we just need a Le Mans car... | 📷 by @mclarenauto
McLaren doesn't just pay tribute to its motorsports achievements, it uses their inspiration to create the legends of the future. The #Senna name is one of the most well-known in McLaren's story, and it is revived through the latest addition to the #UltimateSeries. #P15#McLarenSenna
🤔 BUY A MANUAL 🤔 The new McLaren Senna has moved the technological game forward yet again. However, cars like this are impossible to enjoy on public roads. My 650S has 641bhp and is fast enough for anyone with 0-60mph in 2.9s and a top speed of 207mph. This new breed of supercars/hypercars are amazing but it makes me think that manual supercars like the Porsche CGT, that have less driver aids, are going to be even more sought after in years to come #mclaren#mclarensenna#mclarenp15#hypercar#supercar Top Photo Credit @autoblog
