✖️Week 1 Challenge - Whats your Inspiration?✖️
Cancer is my inspiration... weird I know. But 2 years ago it was the reason I joined the #250kchallenge. Yes the day after that picture on the left was taken I was back in the gym training.
How did you train through chemo?! The question I get all the time! Well number one reason is I am stubborn as hell and hate being told that I can’t do something. Everyone said I would be dead tired through chemo and weaker than ever? Hmmm sounded like a challenge to me 😈. I love proving people wrong and I definitely shocked a few, including my doctors!
The other reason, was in a world where I had lost almost all control of everything to do with my body it gave me a sense of control and power. When I was in the gym and training it wasn’t cancer or chemo that was making me tired it was the workout. Then after it was me (or sometimes my awesome parents when I was way to tired) who made the food that allowed it to recover and get stronger. I took control, and I got to see the changes happen, feel my muscles getting stronger and watching them grow (again almost unheard of for those going through treatment).
So the reason I train; the reason I participate in this challenge again is because it empowers me to take control and sculpt my body and mind the way I want them to be. STRONG.
What’s your motivation to train?
😔 we need to enjoy life now! The good and the so call bad.

New video coming out today at 3pm EST in my website, biolayne.com that is sure to ruffle a few feathers. But new scientific data shows that IIFYM may actually be BETTER for micronutrient intake than a set ‘clean eating’ meal plan. Don’t miss it!
