Красивые прогулки по Барселоне - запись в Директ 📩
It's been almost three months since our trip to Spain, and I can't believe I haven't shared any photos here yet! It's hard to find the words to describe those days that were filled with so many new experiences, challenges to tackle together, and moments of pure awe and elation. I'll keep working on that... but in the mean time, I highly recommend taking the jump- book those flights, try that new restaurant, plan that road trip- do something completely out of the ordinary with someone you love!⠀
Nothing in my life has been more fun than wandering the world hand in hand with this one.
Peak: we are back in GREAT Britain. The country of Shakespeare, Churchill, the Beatles, Sean Connery, Harry Potter. David Beckham's right foot. David Beckham's left foot, come to that. OK, so not my words, but I'm feeling mighty Love Actually after a squealing airport reunion with my in-laws and a drive home through snowy English countryside.
Pit: our year is done but it's hard to find a pit because I'm so proud we did it. And by 'we', I mean you too. It feels strange and sad that it's over, but I want to thank you for every message and comment and sweetness because although it's just been me and the weirdo with the beardo, I've felt like I've had thousands of incredibly supportive friends along for the ride. So pat yourself on the back, cos YOU just did a year abroad. And you smashed it.
So day 351: and that adds up to exactly a fortnight short of a year. That'll do pig, that'll do 👌🏼 #mypeakandpitoftheday
Santa Maria de Montserrat is a Benedictine abbey located on the mountain of Montserrat, in Monistrol de Montserrat, in Catalonia, Spain. It is notable for enshrining the image of the Virgin of Montserrat. The monastery was founded in the 10th century and still functions to this day, with over 70 monks. The monastery has its historical origins in the hermitage of Santa Maria, which Count Guifré el Pelós gave to the Monastery of Ripoll in the year 888. There have always been roughly 80 monks in residence.
