FLAWS ~ we all have them right? No one is perfect. I don’t even know why the stupid word exists. Yesterday someone pleasantly brought to my attention how shit my teeth are. I’ll be honest, I hate my teeth - they’re one of my biggest flaws and I want to change them. Dental work isn’t cheap so it’s not that easy; It’s actually embarrassing and I hate smiling. But we all have flaws, and it’s ok right? Noones eyebrows are exactly the same, some people are covered in freckles they hate, some girls were blessed to be born with perfectly perky breasts, others have to pay to enhance them even though what they were given wasn’t their choice, some people have cankles or chunky areas they hate, and others have perfectly rounded ankles and great legs. We are all different and our bodies incomparable to one another because we will NEVER be the same - yet all we do in society is judge by appearances and compare to social expectations. I hate my teeth, it’s ok to hate things about yourself - but don’t ever think you’re not beautiful because of your flaws. Own that shit.
Although an ouch in the knee is gonna temporarily put my leg workouts on hold for a little bit, it’s no excuse to be away from the gym. Got other parts of the body to train, gives me a chance to work on other places that need the attention, train around the pain is true commitment!
