I didn’t wanna. But I did! Ever had one of those days? Tired from a late night urgent care visit w/your sick kiddo (she’s doing lots better today thank goodness ❤️), would have rather taken a nap and justifiably so but had a window of opportunity to get my workout in so chose the latter and so glad I did. I progressed on some exercises and I turned a “I can’t do that” into a “yes I can” and did some full versions of moves I’ve been previous modifying. Felt great to see that progress in the midst of a challenging 24 hours that I otherwise wouldn’t have seen yet. Stay Inspired! 🤩

The 2018 season starts in 5 days y’all! 2017 was the year of PRs, I was fortunate in all the right ways.

Are you setting some lofty goals for 2018?? I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours 😀😀. If it helps, have a glass of wine to help you aim that little bit higher 😜😜🍷🍷😜😜 .
Ten days into @offroaddc's #ReindeerRelay and one of our teammates is down for the count with pneumonia while the other nurses him back to #cycling-ready! @jeaninelforsythe and I were so lonely riding this weekend-hopefully we'll all be back in the saddle soon. If you have no idea what TF I'm talking about, that means you're missing out on all the #offroad competitive December fun!

Setting a PB bike split in slower than expected conditions in Busso.
As much as I love this bike I think the step to a real TT bike might be happening if I'm going to get serious about tri. Hopefully a bit more feasible now that I'm no longer a student lol

🇦🇺 2017 in 3 words : Intense • Painful • Beautiful
Here goes my first year racing professionally. 2017 has been anything but easy, it has tested me in many ways. I had to deal with 3 stress fractures, a ruptured calf, and Achilles tendinitis. I lost my grandfather to cancer, had to go to Brazil to look after my sick grandmother, and from stress I ended up with exhaustion. My brother-in-law is now fighting cancer and this year just seems like it is never ending.
Triathlon for the most part of the year wasn’t even my main priority. In saying that, I am so grateful for this year. As an athlete I have seen a lot of the world, met some amazing people, and have learned so much about my sport. I am also extremely grateful for the people I have around me, all my family, friends, supporters and sponsors, and that includes you guys here on Instagram that have always supported me.
Thank you to @ferry_rd_physio for all your services and support. Thank you @bodyscience for the amazing sponsor and supporter you guys are, this partnership is just going to grow further and further. Thank you @emfitnesscentres for providing me with the best technology and environment. Thank you @volaremadetofly for the ongoing support, it is great to be able to grow together with you guys. To my coaches @orivalandries@paulosbarroso1@mikeyjanus thank you so much for all the patience dealing with all my setbacks. Thank you @triathlonbrasil for the amazing support, I look forwards to representing my country for many years to come.
It’s is now time to have a break, rest, enjoy the summer and get ready for next year 😘
